I am incredibly inspired by words. I would love to get better at writing my own but for now I'll share some others that resonate with me. To live authentically, trust your inner guidance, let your inner light be your guide. Some of us might need to dig deep to rediscover what that is or dust the cobwebs off first so to speak. Worth doing though I would say. #authenticliving #livecreatively #homedecor #trustheprocess
Did you see the lunar eclipse this morning? I am now on the lookout for new experiences. Change things up a bit you know. We get set in our ways don’t we so setting my alarm for 4.15 to watch the moon is a new thing for me. I am proud of my son who woke up to keep me company, especially as he said he only went to sleep at 3am. . This painting on canvas is part of my “Dream with me in the Sea” series which of course is inspired by the ocean! I love the vibrancy of the colours in this one. @nancyhillisstudio has an amazing blog post about living your truth as an artist. “Creativity is deeply associated with the unknown because things that you’ve already created are known. We’re not going to rid ourselves of fear but rather face it head on, by going ahead anyway even as we’re afraid.” Nancy Hills. I recommend taking the time to read the blog post. 💫 I think the word creativity could also be replaced with “life”. 💫
I felt so much love and joy today listening to my 15 year old boy singing in the shower at the top of his lungs to Alicia Keys! I love his expression, I love his choice of music, and I loved that I stopped to take that moment in.
A completely different style for me. Maybe inspired by watermelon, lol! Love this journey!
