Jess & Hudson 7 Weeks Newborn

I can't tell you how much I love capturing moments with fresh new babies.  I just love it.  These images of Jess and Hudson were taken when he was around 7 weeks old.   On this day there was no sleeping from Hudson but that is totally okay with me.  The beauty of doing a home newborn photography session is that you can stay in the comfort of your home, and attend to your baby as needed.  What I love is working with the natural light in your home.  No home is the same and it keeps me being creative. For this session I was at Jess's place for under an hour.  I hope you enjoy.

Some cooking in my June 10 on 10 | Brisbane Family Photography

It is getting harder and harder to photograph my children as they get older.  Luckily, with documentary photography, there is still some hope.  I do remind them how much they will love seeing themselves doing all these activities when they are adults.  (when they have no memory like their Mum, ha ha!)

This month's series is of Toby - cooking with love.  He is very at home in the kitchen and I call him my little chef.  He is very inspiring to watch and I love seeing his passion for cooking well.  I try to inspire the cooking of healthy food but, hey, he is a kid and sometimes just wants to make something fun. He works very quickly and is a bit like a tornado but he certainly gets the job done.  I have to be very quick with the camera to get any images!

At the end of this post there is a link to the next lovely photographer in this blog circle.

Please follow this blog circle half way around the world and see this months images from the lovely Becky Anderson Photography, who is based in Michigan USA.
